International Summer and Winter Sessions
Feng Chia University will be offering courses at the summer and winter sessions for students from all over the world. A wide variety of specially selected courses will be offered, which may fulfill undergraduate degree requirements at North American colleges and universities. Students will study with faculty from North America and earn credits that can be transferred to their home schools. Official transcripts will be issued by the Office of Academic Affairs, FCU. Credits are accepted at the discretion of the student’s home school and it is the responsibility of the students to complete their home school approval process for receiving credits.
Credits Transfer System
All courses in Feng Chia University Summer and Winter Sessions are equivalent to many best colleges and universities in the world.
(1) Except for Chinese language courses, all the other courses offered by Feng Chia University Summer and Winter Sessions will be taught in English.
(2) All the courses will be offered for 5 weeks and 60 contact hours (50 minutes each) in total per course.
(3) Feng Chia University will grant 4 credits for each course.
(4) Each course is equivalent to one-semester undergraduate level courses in the colleges and universities in North America.
Courses
More than 20 courses such as Art History, World History, Introductory Biology and Macroeconomics will be offered during the summer and winter sessions, covering different disciplines including Economics, Business, Social Science and Liberal Arts.
Faculty
All summer and winter sessions’ professors now are from colleges and universities in North America, including professors from Harvard University, Princeton University, Brown University, Columbia University, etc.
Admission Criteria
- Currently enrolled students of Feng Chia university. [Exclusive] 20 free spots available for our students! (Each spot allows enrollment in 1 program session, with a choice of 1 to 3 courses).
- IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or equivalent English proficiency.
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
