Feng Chia University Partners with Top 50 Global University, The University of Queensland, to Launch "UQ Global Connect-Taiwan"

On March 20, The University of Queensland (UQ), one of Australia's Group of Eight universities, held the unveiling ceremony of the "UQ Global Connect-Taiwan" collaboration base at Feng Chia University. Concurrently, the annual highlight event "UQ Info Day 2025" was also held. The establishment of this collaboration base marks UQ's first campus presence in Taiwan and symbolizes the further strengthening of the long-term partnership between the two institutions, writing a new chapter in Taiwan-Australia higher education exchange.

On March 20, Feng Chia University once again partnered with the globally renowned institution, The University of Queensland (UQ). On that day, both parties signed a dual master's degree program agreement for the College of Business and renewed the 2+2 dual bachelor's degree program cooperation agreement with the International School of Technology and Management, further deepening their six-year partnership and expanding the scope of academic cooperation.

On May 23, a research and development delegation led by Prof. Rakic, Vice‑Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UQ, visited Feng Chia University again, reaffirming both institutions’ strong commitment to deepening cooperation.Upon arriving in Taichung on May 23, the delegation immediately met with Dean Chuang‑Chien Chiu, Vice‑Dean Shaw‑Jyh Shin, Charles S. Chien, and Executive Director Yao‑Lung Chung of the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM).

Feng Chia University Delegation Led by the Chairperson and President Makes First Joint Visit to Australia, Visiting RMIT University

On May 4, a delegation from Feng Chia University, led by Chairperson Gao, Cheng‑Shu, President Wang, Wei, Vice President Kuo‑Hao Tang, and Vice President Shwu‑Ting Lee, visited the renowned RMIT University in Australia. This marks the first time the University’s Chairperson, President, two Vice Presidents, and senior administrators have traveled together on an official overseas visit—demonstrating Feng Chia University’s strong commitment to RMIT and its determination to advance internationalization. During the trip, the delegation also met alumni in Melbourne as well as Feng Chia students currently studying at RMIT University and Monash University.

Australian Office visited Feng Chia to bridge Feng Chia with Australia’s top 100 universities in the world.

The Australia Office visited our school on the 5th. Ma Jie, Director of the Business Office, led Senior Business Manager Lu Zhu Zhen, Business Manager Hu Ying Jun, and New South Wales Taiwan Director Zhang Jun Ming to visit the school’s Board of Directors, Principal’s Office, International Office, and International College, School of Business and School of Innovation. The two sides exchanged views on the development of education and technology between Taiwan and Australia, and look forward to opening more communication in the future.
