Feng Chia University 111 Academic Year Commencement Explains the Spirit of University Education through "Virtuosi"

Feng Chia University 111 Academic Year Commencement was held on June 18, live on FB and YouTube. This year, the commencement was held under the theme of "Virtuosi", using the design graph of or future roof plan of the "Virtuos Hall" as the design element. "The Virtuos Hall is a landmark building created by Feng Chia University and Kengo Kuma, the master architect of the main stadium of the Tokyo Olympic Games, to interpret the spirit of Feng Chia University's education. Virtuos Hall will be expected to open in 2024, where we can realize and witness the vision of "Beautiful Campus, Smart Learning" together.

Feng Chia University has 61 doctoral students, 1,508 master's students, and 4,570 undergraduates in the 111th grade (including the advanced degree program), with over 5,000 graduates.
President Lee encouraged the graduates to keep up with the times, try new things, and embrace the new world of opportunities that are ever-changing. The Chairman Ph.D. Kao Cheng-Shu said that the more variables there are in the environment, the more ability and perseverance are the key to survival and development. Be safe, be healthy, and keep having high hope! The president of the Alumni Association, Mr. Peng-Yin Shih, also used the words of King Luo Bin of the Tang Dynasty, "Let's see whose world is in the middle of today's world to courage all of the graduates.

At the commencement, outstanding students were recognized and awarded with the Jiren Awards, Lide Awards, Tianxing Awards, Lixue Awards, and Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society Membership Certificates. Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor was awarded in the lead of Professor Tsu-Chiang Lei. Last, the Commencement ended with the speech by the valedictorian, Director of the 28th Students' Association Mr. Lai.

The commencement of 2022 was also special to President Lee. Although he will be stepping down soon, with his rich experience, the university will still be a relay team, carefully handing over the relay baton, and staying strong. After the commencement, many graduates came up to the stage to take a photo with President Lee, thanking him for leading the school to a new height of prestige and image during his nine years in education.
