Insurance & Health Exam Requirement (For Exchange Students)

Students who are joining the on-campus exchange program are required to purchase their own insurance in their home country before traveling to Taiwan.

Please provide proof of insurance in Chinese or English valid for your entire exchange period for the following:

• Accident insurance worth a minimum of NTD 1,000,000 (approx. USD 34,000)
• Medical insurance worth a minimum of NTD 1,000,000 (approx. USD 34,000)

All students are required to complete two health checks in total — one before arrival and one after arrival.

Before Arrival

Timing: Before entering Taiwan (please bring the health examination report with you upon arrival).

Requirements:

• Students staying for one semester: Complete the Medical Examination Requirements for Short-Term Students (Form C) with a qualified doctor in your home country prior to the registration date.

• Students staying for one academic year: Complete the Health Certificate for Residence Application (Form B) with a qualified doctor in your home country prior to the registration date.

After Arrival

As per Ministry of Health and Welfare regulations, all incoming and exchange students must complete an on-campus health check.

Application Method: The on-campus health check for new students will be arranged by Feng Chia University. Please follow our notification and make an online reservation for your health check time slot.
