imCloud and igus advanced cooperation to jointly offer graduation special courses

In response to the increase in the average density of robots in the global manufacturing industry, Professor Zhang from the Department of Department of Aerospace and Systems Engineering of FCU has applied PHM technology to robotic arms sponsored by igus® Taiwan Company Ltd. from 2020. , The two parties laid a good foundation for cooperation and experimental results; the imCloud specially invited the company’s general manager Lin Guangyao to exchange results on March 17 and conduct another new cooperation. Since the introduction of PHM technology is the industry leader, especially the experience of Professor Zhang leading the students to successfully introduce the robotic arm, Chen Lihong was recruited by AUO for a corporate internship, and Xu Zixuan was recruited to participate in the Hanxiang Aviation PHM forward-looking project. Work with the school to further cultivate talents. This graduation thematic course is [Business Model and Talent Cultivation of Smart Manufacturing under Sustainability]. It is jointly taught by 4 teachers with different expertise, including She Rixin, Zhang Yuanren, Chen Xinhong, and Cao Rong. The main body is the robotic arm sponsored by igus. Bringing in the concepts of smart manufacturing and PHM, plus company visits and practical introductions, under the leadership of the teacher, let the students in the course learn business models and applications. In addition to the subject students of the teachers, it also attracted three students from the Department of Finance and Taxation as electives, which is in line with the goal of the course "to cultivate students' teamwork and interdisciplinary application skills".
