Australian Office visited Feng Chia to bridge Feng Chia with Australia’s top 100 universities in the world.

The Australia Office visited our school on the 5th. Ma Jie, Director of the Business Office, led Senior Business Manager Lu Zhu Zhen, Business Manager Hu Ying Jun, and New South Wales Taiwan Director Zhang Jun Ming to visit the school’s Board of Directors, Principal’s Office, International Office, and International College, School of Business and School of Innovation. The two sides exchanged views on the development of education and technology between Taiwan and Australia, and look forward to opening more communication in the future.

Chairman Gao Cheng Shu and President Wang Wei received the guests from the Australia Office on behalf of the school. Vice President Ms. Li and Dean of the International College Mr. Qiu introduced the current situation of Feng Chia University, a leading international university in Taiwan, as well as the substantial progress in academic and student exchanges with Australia in recent years. From 2015 to 2023, a total of 673 students from our International School of Technology and Management, Bachelor's Program of International Business Administration in English and other polytechnics went to the University of Queensland, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology for exchange students or double degree. In the future, we can continue to deepen cooperation in various directions such as joint scholarships and joint credit courses.

The Australian office has expressed interest in our university's biohydrogen energy research and aerospace achievements, particularly acknowledging our milestone in launching SHSR-Aero1 last November. This marked our university as the first in central Taiwan to engage in scientific rocket research. Business Manager Lu Zhu Zhen shared Australia's plans for collaboration in international schools, leveraging Feng Chia University's educational expertise to introduce potential partners. This summer, a collaborative "Australia Night" event is set to begin at Feng Chia University, aiming to showcase Australia's resources comprehensively. Through exchange activities, the goal is to increase cooperation opportunities between Taiwan and Australia.
