Global Mobility

At the beginning of entering university, you are full of desires and ideas for the future, but everything is just fantasy before you step into the understanding. When you are willing to take that step, the world in front of you will change. Learn to look for opportunities by yourself instead of waiting for others to give you something. University will be a place where you can fly and dream freely, and it is also the beginning of realizing your dreams.

Club from Scratch

The "FIRA (Federation of International Robot-Sports Association)" held in the gymnasium of Feng Chia University in the summer of 2018 was the starting point for me to know robots.

In 2019, when the invitation to the Korean FIRA competition was received, a group of teams without a goal had a direction again, and regrouped to fight again. It took only 3 months from the official formation of the team to the competition. Because the school headquarters did not have equipment and practice venues, the school cooperated with the Zhongke Intelligent Robot Manufacturing Base to form a Zhongke Feng Chia team to participate in the competition. This is the first time I have touched the humanoid robot. Introduced by my teacher, I was guided remotely by Professor Yu Hang He from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I successfully used the program to control the Robotics OP2 robot produced in Korea, which contribute to I have deeper understanding of designing actions of the robot and robot structure.

In order to make the club go further, we operate the club in a corporate manner, gradually constructing organizational rules and structures, and gradually clarifying the goals of the whole club. There are clear management procedures for account management, community management, and website operation. Because the club researches robotics projects, the required skills cover hardware and software technologies. The social class content includes programming, image recognition, robot kinematics, circuit design, and 3D printing. The quality of the courses often represents the level of the next member. Therefore, the arrangement of each social class and the selection of lecturers have been thoroughly considered and arranged.

The AIoT innovative application camp brings high school students to experience programming language and IoT applications.

World Economic Forum USR Program

In 2022, I participated in the "Dongshi Xinshi Project" guided by teacher Ye Shouli of the School of Creation and Energy, visited the elderly and local farmers, and learned how the past cultural characteristics and historical context of mountain towns transformed into modern agriculture, and stood out in high-precision farming. We discuss the industrial structure with social culture as the starting point, record the local life in words after field investigation, and write the Dongshi story of the next generation. Only by communicating with others with a learning heart can we gain new knowledge. This is the purpose of our trip to Dongshi.

Not limited to one's own major, participate in multiple cross-domain competitions.

In addition to competitions in the field of computer science, I am not limited to my major, and try to participate in competitions of innovation, entrepreneurship and business. Gradually growing up in the competition, from intra-school teams to cross-school teams, the themes cover environmental sustainability, friendly animals and rehabilitation medicine. Different topics enable me to learn content in various fields in the competition, such as financial statements, marketing characteristics, From biomedicine to rehabilitation science, environmental sustainability to carbon inventory, step by step to make yourself an all-round talent.
